Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup flour
1 tbl sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
3 cup buttermilk
1/4 tsp vanilla
Preparation
In large bowl, combine flours, sugar, baking soda and salt, mixing well. In a medium bowl combine egg, milk and vanilla, mixing well. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in wet liquid, mixing just enough to moisten dry ingredients. Heat non-stick griddle or pan. Lightly oil pan and pour on the batter to form pancakes. Flip when bubbles form and pancakes are lightly brown.
