Ingredients
–1 lb. ground beef
–1 onion, finely chopped
–1/2 cup bread crumbs
–1 egg
–3/4 tsp. salt
–1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
Combine ingredients in mixer. Form into patties, about 3" across and 1/2" deep. Fry in olive oil or vegetable oil, until browned on both sides.
Pour enough water into the skillet to almost cover the patties. Add one beef boullion cube. Boil rapidly for about 10 min.
Serve with potatoes, a vegetable, and brown gravy if desired.
