Ingredients

3/4 c. butter

1 c. light brown sugar

1/2 c. sugar

1 t vanilla

2 eggs

1 c. flour

1 t salt

1 t baking soda

1 c. oatmeal, processed to fine consistency

1/2 or so nuts (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, sugars and vanilla.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
  4. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda; add.
  5. Stir in oatmeal and nuts.
  6. Drop onto sheets, bake 8-10 min.
