Ingredients
One 4.7 oz. package Farmhouse® Herb & Butter Pasta
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup peeled carrot, finely chopped
1/4 cup celery stalk, finely chopped
One 16 oz. can peeled whole tomatoes, drained & broken-up
1 cup water
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup dry white wine
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8-1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion, carrot, and celery until beef is no longer pink; drain-off fat. Add tomatoes, water, milk, wine, black pepper, red pepper flakes, noodles and contents of seasoning packet; bring just to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan, if desired.
