Ingredients
4 cloves garlic
2 cups of canned garbanzo beans, drained, liquid reserved
1.5 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup tahini (sesame seed butter, found in the ethnic foods aisle of the grocery store)
6 Tablespoons lemon juice (about 2 lemons worth, but I just use those little bottles they sell in the produce section of the store)
2 Tablespoons of the garbanzo bean liquid or water
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and mix until smooth and creamy. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
