Ingredients

carrots
parsnips
celery &/or celery root
dill
onions
salt pepper
some fat - olive oil, or butter - may come along with matzoh balls
consider:
dried mushrooms
garlic
parsley
turnips
leeks
Preparation
boil water and simmer with vegetables for 1-2 hours… some veges may get mushy, so if you want to eat them, you may want to remove or turn off before too soft. Some folks like to keep in the herbs, others take it out before serving. Can be made a day or two before meal.
