Ingredients
1/2 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1 cup grated apple
3 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Preparation
In sauce pan melt margarine. Add sugar, cocoa, grated apple & salt. Boil for one minute.
Remove from heat then add oats and vanilla. Mix well.
Drop by heaping teaspoonful onto waxed paper. Let cookies cool.
