Ingredients
2 oz. semisweet chocolate
2 oz. butter
2 oz. peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teas. vanilla
2 cups oatmeal (more or less)
Preparation
Combine first five ingredients in a saucepan and cook, stirring, over medium heat until the chocolate, butter, and peanut butter are melted. Continue cooking and stirring until all ingredients are well blended, but do not bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add vanilla and oatmeal. Stir until oatmeal is coated with chocolate mixture; mixture should contain enough oatmeal so there is no excess chocolate remaining. Drop cookies by spoonfuls onto waxed paper; let harden (refrigerate if desired).
