Ingredients

1 cup butter

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1/2 tsp. almond extract

2-1/2 cups flour

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350'

Bake at 350’ for 8-12 minutes, depending on cookies size and thickness.

Cream butter and sugar gradually until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and almond extract. Blend flour gradually. Mix well. Chill dough for easy handling. Roll dough 1/4 inch thickness on floured surface, or use a cookie press.
