Ingredients
5 c. sifted flour
2 1/4 c. Crisco
OR
1 1/4 c. butter + 1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tsp. vinegar
Water
Preparation
Cut shortening into flour and salt mixture.
Put egg and vinegar into 1-cup measure and beat with a fork. Add enough water to make 1 cup.
Add liquid to flour mixture. Blend well and chill or freeze before rolling.
