Ingredients

2 cups flour

3 teas baking powder

a pinch of salt

1/2 cup powdered milk

warm water-enough for a biscuit dough consistency

vegetable oil

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together until you have a nice biscuit dough. Knead until smooth. Let the dough rise in a warm place in a bowl that is oiled and covered with a clean kitchen cloth, for at least 30-60 minutes. The longer you let it rise, the softer the bread will be. Pour vegetable oil into a cast iron pan to at least half full and heat to medium-high. Pat out a dough at a time into small disks. As you make them, place the disks in the pan and turn only once until a golden brown.
