Ingredients
1 large potato per person (any kind).
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Any other toppings such as cheese, chives, bacon bits, and or Hellmans optional.
Preparation
Wash and microwave whole unpeeled potatoes 9 minutes while grill is heating. After microwaving potatoes, slice in half lengthwise and then score them deep lengthwise. Spread butter (or margerine) so it melts into the lengthwise cuts and then add salt and pepper. Place face down on grill until golden browned and “race-tracked” (10 to 15 minutes). No need to turn over. Add any additional toppings (cheese, chives, bacon bits, and or Hellmans or whatever you like) and enjoy. Similiar to a “twice baked”.
