Ingredients
1 head Napa cabbage, chopped fine
6 green onions, chopped fine
2 packages Ramen noodles
4-5 oz. slivered almonds
1/2 cup margarine ( I use 1/4 cup )
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
! 2 Tbs. soy sauce
Preparation
- Melt margarine in large skillet.
- Crush Ramen noodles in the bag.
- Put noodles in skillet, discarding flavor packet. Add almonds and saute until golden.
- Cool on paper towels on cookie sheet.
- Mix four dressing ingredients. Shake very well.
- Chop Napa cabbage. Chop green onions.
- Chill in plastic bags until ready to use.
- Toss vegetables together with dressing just before eating.
- Toss in the noodle/almond mixture, sprinkling some on top. [If noodles are added too early, they get soggy.]
