1 head Napa cabbage – finely chopped
3 green onions (3-4 depending on taste)–chopped
1/2 cup salad oil
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar (plus 2 more tablespoons) {I use sweet/low}
1/3 cup butter – melted
3/4 cup slivered almonds
2 pks Ramen noodles, crushed (oriental)
1/4 cup sesame seeds (optional)
Preparation
Step 1: Mix cabbage and onions and refrigerate
Step 2: Put salad oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and ramen seasoning in a sealed container. Shake until mixed and refrigerate
Step 3: Melt butter in a skillet, add almonds, noodles, and sesame seeds(optional). Brown ingredients until crunchy.
Step 4: About 30-45 minutes before serving, shake oil mixture and pour over Part 1. Just before serving, add Part 3 and mix well.
