Ingredients

For Dressing:

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 cup cider vinegar

1/2 cup sugar

3/4 cup peanut oil

For Salad Crunchies:

2 packages ramen noodles

1/2 cup sesame seeds

1/2 cup slivered almonds

5 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons peanut oil

For Salad:

2 heads napa cabbage

1 bunch scallions, sliced thinly

Preparation

Make Dressing: Boil 1 minute. Cool. Can be refrigerated. Bring to room temperature before use.

Make Salad Crunchies: Brown almonds in peanut oil. Add garlic and sesame seeds and noodles. Sautee 1 minute. Can be stored in airtight container.

Toss cabbage and scallions. Add crunchies, then dressing.
