Ingredients

4 eggs seperated. Yolks go into the batter. Save whites.

1 cup Buttermilk

1 cup flour

4 tbsp melted butter

salt to taste

Preparation

Separate the eggs. Yolks go into the batter. Add Buttermilk, flour and melted butter. salt to taste. Mix all these ingredients (except egg whites).

Whip the egg whites to stiff peaks.

Fold in the egg white mixture into the batter.

Don’t mix too much or the egg whites will loose their volume. Make sure they are mixed well though.

The batter can be used for pancakes or waffles.
