Ingredients

3 c whole wheat flour

3 1/2 c white flour

1/3 c honey

5 T butter

(2 t liquid lecithin)

2 T active dry yeast

1/2 T salt

1 1/4 c hot water

Preparation

Combine whole wheat flour, 3 cups of the white flour, honey,melted butter, lecithin, yeast and salt. Stir in hot water and blend well. Turn onto board and use the extra 1/2 c white flour while kneading 5-10 minutes. Into oiled bowl to rise 1 hr or till double. Punch down and knead again 5 minutes using 2 T more flour. Form loaves and putin oiled pans to rise 45 minutes or until double. Bake at 350 35-45 min.
