Ingredients

3 c. chopped fresh greens.

1/3 c. finely chopped shallots

2 Tbsp. finely chopped garlic

2-3 Tbsp. sesame oil

1 Tbsp. sesame seeds

1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

1 1/2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar

Preparation

  1. Steam the chopped greens of your choice for about 4-5 minutes until tender, but not fully cooked.

2.Add oil to a medium sautée pan and bring it to temp under medium-high heat.

  1. Add the shallots and sesame seeds first, sautéing them lightly for 3-4 minutes, then add the garlic, sautéing for another 2-3 minutes.

  2. Toss in the steamed greens and red pepper flakes, stirring lightly to mix oil evenly throughout.

  3. Increase the heat slightly and add the rice wine vinegar. Cover the pan and simmer briefly. (2 minutes should suffice)

  4. Serve immediately!
