Ingredients
6-7 yellow apples
200 grams butter
50 grams butter for saute
220 grams flour
200 grams light brown sugar
Slivered almonds
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Preparation
Mix the brown sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and chopped almonds all in one bowl. Add 150 grams of melted butter into the mix. start to crumble the mixure by rubbing gently with finger tips. Refrigerate this mixture for 1 hour.
Meanwhile, peel the skin off the apples and chop into 1/2 inch squares. Saute chopped apple with 50 grams butter in a saucepan for 2 mins.
Spread some butter in a soufflé pan, then add half of the crumble mixture, add apple cubes, then add the rest of the crumble.
I usually add a few cubes of butter on the top so that the apple crumble turns into a golden treat!
Finally put in a preheated 350 F oven for 40-50 mins
Serve with whip cream and your favourite ice cream.
