Ingredients
1 cup tomato puree
1/4 cup bourbon
1 tsp liquid smoke
3 tbl worcestershire sauce
2 tbl prepared mustard (dijon prefered)
3 tbl cider vinegar
2 tsp louisiana hot sauce
4 drops super-hot sauce (Vicious Viper, Dave’s Insanity)
2 tbl molasses
3 tbl light brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp hot paprika
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Then lower to a simmer for about 40 mins, until all flavors have blended, stirring every 5-10 mins.
Let cool and refrigerate before using.
