Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon almond extract

2 cups flour

½ teaspoons baking powder

½ cup ground almonds

Whole blanched almonds

Preparation

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add extract, dry ingredients, ground almonds.
  3. Form into balls, press flat with a glass dampened and dipped in sugar
  4. Place a blanched almond in center of cookie
  5. Bake 350 10-12 min
