Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups flour
½ teaspoons baking powder
½ cup ground almonds
Whole blanched almonds
Preparation
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add extract, dry ingredients, ground almonds.
- Form into balls, press flat with a glass dampened and dipped in sugar
- Place a blanched almond in center of cookie
- Bake 350 10-12 min
