Ingredients

1 kilo mutton chops and leg meat (no fat);

1 large onion diced;

3 tomatoes;

Salt, red chilli powder, haldi, garlic.

Preparation

  1. Fry one large diced onion until brown;

  2. Add three diced tomatoes or 1 can diced tomatoes and cook until brown and oil is surfacing;

  3. Add mutton, salt, 2 teasp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp haldi, tblsp garlic and add water upto a level where the meat is barely covered;

  4. Cover and cook for 1 hour until all the water has dried up and meat is ready;

  5. Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or roti.
